I found out that you can change your Windows 7 language without owning the Ultimate edition. You just need to download Vistalizator and the MUI language pack you need.
Good for if you bought your laptop overseas in a different language.
Just a FYI. I loaded English via Vistalizator into my Mexican purchased laptop. Of course it came with Spanish as the O.S. language. (Windows 7 Home Premium)
I could not use the typical MUI installation (Internal). In the attempt it would actually say that it was downloading, but was doing nothing.
Vistalizator had warned about this and suggested using Express, using the Vistalizator tool.
Did so and it worked! 6 minutes later...English OS interface!
One caution, (and this may be for Toshiba OEM Windows 7 only) on start up, both from original boot and from sleep, the Windows Verificator does not like what it sees and will put the pop up on your screen saying that your copy is not valid.
I learned just to ignore the warning and continue, because after about 3 minutes I could download essential updates from Windows and Windows Security. So, obviously verification had picked up the number of the OS and continued.
This has been going on for 3 days and has not caused any problems, yet. If it does, I will post.
