    Imageres.dll

When I right click on the file and select properites I do not see an Icon Tab to view the icons. Is there something that has to be done to view the available icons? Thanks.

    Hello Aviator,

To have the Icons tab added, you would first need to install the same free program IconViewer version as your 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) Windows 7.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

There are usually several ways to skin a cat with Microsoft. Here's another way to view (AND UTILIZE) the imageres.dll icons. Right-lick on the Desktop icon you want to change (or if you just want to VIEW the folder icons but not change the icon, then click on any Desktop icon). Select Properties and then Change Icon. When the icon screen opens click on Browse and scroll down to the Imageres.dll folder. Double-click on it and Voila! It opens and you can view all of the icons and select any of them for your use.
