| | How to show only desktop icons as icon How to show the desktop icons as icon (no thumbnails) ant the windows explorer as thumbnails? Thanks! |

| | Hello Suriname, The desktop and Windows Explorer share the same thumbnail preview settings. If you turn it off, it affects both locations.  A workaround would be to have image files or folders as shortcuts on the desktop instead, and change their icon to one you want.
