    Italic system font

    Hello SevenForums.

This morning, litterally saying, I played too much with the fonts.

After rebooting Windows and all programs were using bold and italic fonts. Managed to get the bold ones solved but can't find where to fix the italic.

    Operating system: Windows 7 32bit
    a picture of the situation:

    Measures taken:
System File Checker - no problems found.
Font selection in personalization - does not work for this part.
    Font in RegEdit:
MS Shell Dlg - Microsoft Sans Serif
MS Shell Dlg 2 - Tahoma
    (both are windows defaults).
Checked 10 pages of this forum with keyword Font - no help.

What I really want to avoid doing (actually don't want to do that no matter what) - reinstalling Windows.

Can't offer as a reward nothing more than a gratitude.
Feel free to ask any questions for additional info.

Hello Maumastoks, and welcome to Seven Forums.

If doing the options in the tutorial below do not help, then you could do a system restore using a restore point dated before you made changes to the fonts to undo it.

    Fonts - Change

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

    Thanks Brink for answering.

    I tried that.

Well this time my mistake was foolish - simply Segoe UI Regular font was missing XD

    Thanks for quick reply.

    Italicizing and Bolding

I have the same problem about italicizing and bolding. Is there anyone who has the solution?
