    Way to disable Window Preview when hovering task bar buttons?

    Hi,

    is there a way to disable the window preview when hovering the task bar buttons? For example, if I have a task bar group with let's say five Internet Explorer Windows and I hover one of them, Windows generates a preview and shows the content at full desktop size.

    The only way I found to disable this is to completely disable Aero.

    Thanks

    Thanks, however, already tried this before and this really only disabled the small previews and not the full size ones. Looks like it's actually not possible to disable this without disabling Aero at all

    right click on computer > advanced system settings > advanced tab > performance settings > uncheck/check 'enable desktop composition'

    This will disable/enable preview of windows on the taskbar.

    PS. none of the aero peek settings or registry edits work.

    Copy this setting to text file, rename with ".reg" extension, add to registry by double clicking on it. Yayyy!

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]
    "ExtendedUIHoverTime"=dword:0003a980
