| | Duplicate shortcuts in the taskbar A few days ago, when I added Google Chrome to my taskbar, all of my other icons disappeared. When I replaced them, they all had a (2) after their names and I when I tried to get rid of it by renaming them it said that a shortcut with that name already existed. | | Hello Nomnomno, and welcome to Seven Forums. Ths pinned items on the taskbar will be located in this this hidden system folder: C:\Users\(User-Name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar You should be able to remove the duplicates from here. You may need to restart afterwards to apply though. Hope this helps, Shawn |
