Windows 7 - Restore windows 7 default icon

I have some problem about restore icon in windows 7. Now my computer have two types of icon. I have tried many ways to restore my icon but they don't work. Can somebody give me an idea? Thanks!

Hello Elephance, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You might see if OPTION TWO in the tutorial below may be able to change the folder back to the default icon.

If not, then you can try a system restore using a restore point dated before this happened. As a last resort, you can do a repair install to fix it without losing anything.

Looks like you have been using Stardocks Iconpackager, still not sure they have made it 100% compatible yet, all their products seem a bit flaky to me and I usually only try them and end up doing a system restore because they mess things up, if you have a recent restore point from when you installed it then I would suggest that you use that, if not then you might need to do a clean install if Brink's methods fail.
