Niggly Problem with shortcut arrow and pin to taskbar

Hi all
I have a small issue, i have looked around and cant see obvious answer. Whenever i remove the shortcut arrow of icon i can no longer pin to the taskbar. Ive had this in all builds ive tried. To pin to taskbar i have to re-enable the arrow lol
Has anyone else had this problem and if so where you able to overcome it. Only reason it bugs me now is cos i bought a new 24 inch monitor and all of a sudden the arrows look huge lol, and i like having biggish icons on the desktop

Any help would be gratefully recieved.
Regards

Hello Damoh,

It's not the same thing, but if you really do not want the shortcut arrows, you may be able to create a toolbar on the taskbar for the folder instead like how it was done for the Quick Launch folder in this tutorial below.

Quick Launch - Enable or Disable

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Just use this and follow the instructions, put the blank icon in the windows directory and use the remove arrow (c) if you have your OS on c drive which most people do. once you apply the registry setting log off and log on again to see the changes.

Glad it worked for you and I will have another beer as well

Not sure why you can't give me rep unless you have given it to before and you have not given rep to enough people since then.
