Windows 7: Can't change window border color

I have aero enabled, but I can't change the window border color through Window Color and Appearance. I can get to the menu where I can change the colors and intensity, but nothing happens when I click on a color or the drop down menu for the color mixer.

Anyone have any ideas on how to make it work?



I'm using Windows 7 Professional and all other aero features seem to work.

Nothing happens when I click on a color or the color mixer (clicking on the advanced settings works). The color buttons also do not highlight when I hover over them with the mouse.

Try disabling Aero, Disabling transparency, changing to Windows 7, classic and back.

I am not sure about the problem, so hopefully you will find solution when you try some tweaking with those.
Or someone who has more info will post here.

Did you by any chance run the aero blur tweaker? If so re-run it (as administrator) and show the blur, and that will allow you to change the border colour again.
