How to get rid of system wide blue

Using Aero themes is there any way to get rid of the system wide baby blue? no matter what theme I pick or options for it the blue stays and it looks like crap with dark themes as shown below.

I'm afraid no, as far as I know that "blue" is built within the core of Win 7. Perhaps If you tried WindowBlinds by Stardock.

Thanks, I had a feeling it was that way as I am pretty astute with google and found nothing. It really is a shame as it clashes so bad with some themes, not worth for me to screw around with 3rd party apps though.

I also detest the blue - what were they thinking? It looks terrible and inconsistent. Here you go:
AERO Raynhard Windows 7 by ~Raynhard on deviantART

As for the whole 'astute with Google' part - don't feel bad, it took me far longer than it should have to find this.

You might want to get a whole new theme from deviantart instead of the 'fix' above while you're at it. Go to Cutomization > Skins & Themes > Windows 7 Utilities

I haven't tried it yet because the screen pic is misleading. What color did this person change to? It still looks light blue in the screenshot

Thanks Pickaxe, that did it. I will save anyone else a touch of time, here is a link to the universal theme patcher that is needed before you apply the fix

Greg s. - the pic is "old" on the left side and "fixed" on the right it does indeed work.

Is there a way to also change the color of buttons in the taskbar? specially the active window?
