Windows 7: Custom Folder with Icons

As most know, there was the godmode deal with the folder. And I found another list roaming around with other goodies that can do things similar to that godmode.

The question is, am I able to go into the registry and do some modifications to make my own custom folder that contains icons and options I want/specify? If so, how?
