    Toolbar for opening programs/Docking folders

Hey, I don't know if this is the right section so please tell me if it isn't.

Do you remember how you could drag a folder to the side of the screen and it would dock into a toolbar and you could set it to auto hide.

I don't think there's such feature in Windows 7 or at least I couldn't find it. Is there any gadget/program that can do something similar. Ideal thing would be something like a toolbar in other applications (the one with File, Edit, View...) that would be on the top of the screen but it wouldn't have File, Edit, View and stuff but my custom labels and when I click it it would open a drop-down menu with programs in that category.

Is there something similar? Can it be done like a gadget or would it require a special program?

    Thanks in advance.

    P.S. Please don't say RocketDock.

Hello Darwin, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Sorry, but the desktop toolbar feature from Vista was not included in Windows 7. A good free program to use instead in Windows 7 is Nexus.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

You're welcome. Did that work for you though?
