Unable to turn off Taskbar Thumbnail

"Turn off taskbar thumbnails" is enabled but it still shows previews. Any ideas?

Hello Jason, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Double check with this tutorial to see if it may help. You will need to log off and log on, or restart the computer to apply the changes.

Try the Group Policy setting to see if that will work better for you.

If you did a upgrade install on top of your older Windows 7 version, then
somtimes it's best to do a clean install instead to avoid potential issues with remnants of the previous OS messing with the new version.

That's probably what is going on. I wanted to avoid doing a clean install. I guess I may have to.

Well, try the Group Policy first to see if thay may work, then uninstall and reinstall the mouse drivers to see if it may help with that issue. Hopefully you will not need to reinstall yet.

Yeah, I already tried both of those before posting here.

Well, that stinks. Looks like a reinstall or a repair install.
