Keyboard issue

Hi there. Don't know if this is the right subforum.
I am often using the US international keyboard. To change certain letters you use the AltGr (right alt) key. For me, it is awkward to use this key. How can I reassign it to some other key? When you do a search on the internet, they say it is the same as using Ctrl Alt. Not for me. Of course, changing this key would be just for the US INt'l keyboard. Thank you for your tips.

There are several good key mapping apps on the net. They would do what you want
