    changing progress bar color

hi, i read through the tutorials and did not see this covered or i missed it. i want to change the color of the progress bar that pops up when you are for instance installing something. it is green in color by default. what is that called so i can look for it? thank you

Still called the progress bar, and is displayed depending on what theme you are using, most custom themes come with different colors to match the theme itself.

You need to edit a .msstyles file to change it, and numbers for the progress bar varies from theme to theme.

    Hope this helps.

    You're welcome Harry.

I'll look into it to see if and what I may be able to come up with.

The start up sound is kept in the system32/imageres.dll file, resource name wave, #5080. It's the only wave file in their by the way.
