How to build a customized windows 7 image

Ok this is my first thread. I am on windows 7 since Oct 2008 and i am bored with it. Now, i want to try out customization and make a fake windows 8 based on windows 7 system. Now i have three questions

1. how can u edit the windows 7 setup- i mean the background and dialog boxes as show in this picture

2. Then i want to know how to edit dialog boxes like my computer, libraries, icons and backgrounds. How to replace the default windows components like backgrounds, icons, cursors, start menu with customized ones. For example like how to cahnge the dialog box as it has been done in the following image i mean the the strip displaying computer properties in my computer box

3. After i have customized all this how can i capture all this and applications to a windows 7 image .iso
