I think I can tell you how to add it to the right click menu (not in new though), if that's alright.

    Hello Panais,

This can show you how to had the Rich Text Document New context menu back for WordPad.

New Context Menu - Remove & Restore Default Menu Items

    Hope this helps,

    Panais,

WordPad saves it's files as a Rich Text Format (RTF) document. Adding the option above to the New - context menu items will open WordPad with a new empty RTF document.

I'm not sure what is wrong. You will need to do all of step 14 and click on Yes for the prompts to approve merging the REG file to add it.

-sigh- Yes, it has worked. Make sure to read the dialog boxes next time. It says that it was successful. Now you can right click, go into new, and it will be in there.

    Panais,

These are not error messages indicating that it has not worked. They are approval messages for you to allow the REG file to be merged instead. Once you click OK on that last one, do as Prisoner posted above to see of you have Rich Text Document in the NEW context menu now.

If you still do not, then do you have Office Word installed? If so, then this will not work since Office Word takes over as the default program for RTF files (rich text documents).
