Hiding only certain icons on desktop?

I know you can hide all desktop icons, but is there a way to hide only certain icons? I have some icons that represent macros along with shortcuts but I don't want those to cluster my desktop.

If you're talking about Fences, it is free. I'm using the free version right now. The paid version just comes with some extra (and mostly useless) features.
