So here's the story. I recently purchased a netbook that came with Windows Starter. After some research online I found some information about how to personalize my desktop and installed some application that allowed that. Everything worked fine until I upgraded to Windows Home Premium. I didn't realize that you had to uninstall the program BEFORE you updated. (As I said, I'm VERY new to all of this. This was the first time I ever even updated my own computer!) Well now that I've updated to Windows Home Premium I can't change my background. I've tried to find the program that changed it before I updated to uninstall it and have not been successful. I got on here hoping someone who has a greater knowledge than I would be able to help me because I am going crazzzzy!
Well, if you know the program name, you can go to the search function and type it in, hit more search options and hope you find it. You can also go to C:\Program Files and look for it.

I've tried: 1.Searching for the program with no success to find it as to remove the little bugger 2. Trying to set my background to something else using various methods such as selecting a picture from my images, one from the internet, and the pre-loaded images as well.
I'm pretty sure it's the program I installed when I was using Windows Starter that allowed me to change backgrounds that is now preventing me from changing it now that I updated to Home Premium.

I have an Acer Aspire One..Like I said, I don't know much about computers so I'm not sure what would be valuable to know??
EDIT: I ran a search after finding the site that i installed the program from and FOUND it So, my next question is, what to do from here? Should I uninstall?
