Windows 7 - Open Dialog Box Customizing side links...

| | Open Dialog Box Customizing side links... WHenever I go to open a file in most programs. Windows 7 has a standard window. On the left side there are always 5 links -Recent Search -Desktop -Libraries -Computer -Network I'm just wondering how I can add my own links here. Or perhaps turn on Recent places. I imagine recent places doesn't work because I turned off "Recent files" So maybe I can add my own links instead? |

| | Well, if you have a "Favorites" entry there, just drag whatever you want into it, like a shortcut, or you can open the start menu, pick the button on there you want to add, and drag it over to the favorites category (move it to the spot you want and make sure you see a black line between the above and below links)... That might help for what you need.  |
