Changing colours of some Windows elements

Hi there,
I have been trying to get a "Dark Mode" theme that suits my needs. The problem with most of them, however, is that there are often too many colour conflicts making text in some circumstances unreadable.

I managed to find a dark theme which is quite good & I have tweaked it using the Personalize options.
Unfortunately I still have a few conflicts.

As you can see. the black text is difficult to make out against the dark gray background.
I have experience editing the normal.bin of visualstyle files but have been unable to use that method for these boxes. There doesn't seem to be any way to do it through personalization either. Anyone have any ideas as to a solution?
