| | Right-click "New" Menu How can I remove entries from the Windows 7 right-click "New" menu. In XP I've gone into the registry to remove entries and also used a program that does it for you. How can I accomplish this in Windows 7? I only ever use a couple things (txt file, shortcut, folder), I don't want to have the huge list of things I'm never going to use. Anybody know how? |

| | Just guessing here, In HKCR remove the "shellnew" key for each item you do not want. Example to remove the briefcase entry delete HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Briefcase\ShellNew |
