    It works!


    Well I did it, and it's working fine! LOL!! I'm so paranoid that after applying a theme and seeing the positive results, I did a restart and then a complete shutdown to see if there were any dreaded boot up error messages......and there wasn't any! Many thanks to you both for bolstering my courage! Cheerio!

    Hi all!
    I'm not sure if I should post these here but it's in relation to Uxstyle so maybe it will be okay. I found one of the best themes at Creativx. It uses full glass which only needed Black Glass Enhanced, a small program that you can turn off and on at will. I simply followed the usual procedure for applying a theme and didn't have to change any files or take ownership........ something that would be required if I used the other patching methods. After installing I turned on Black Glass and then opened the theme and here are the end results. I still can't believe how easy Uxstyle has made everything!
