I love this app its exactly what ive been looking for

i even made this Win7 taskforce entry when win7 was in beta

Status Bar missing info - Windows 7 Taskforce

but there seems to be a problem

i cant use the resource editor Restorator with classic shell installed
i get this error

its confirmed classic shell is causing the problem as it works fine the moment it is uninstalled

conflict or something involving ntdll.dll might be the cause

Windows 7 Home 64, Vista Ultimate 64

Which version of Classic Shell are you using?
Are you running 32 or 64-bit Windows 7?
Do you get the crash immediately when you run Restorator, or when you do a specific action in it?

Unfortunately I don't own a copy of Restorator. And I don't feel like paying for it just to troubleshoot this issue. Do you see the same problem with different software? Preferably one that's free

ANN: New version 2.0.0 just released

This is the official version 2.0. It doesn't have any new features. It just fixes the last few bugs found in 1.9.8 (including the Restorator crash reported earlier).

classic shell issue
It doesn't seem to affect explorer. And yes, i close all explorer windows after i tweak anything and re-open to see the results. It may work on somethings, i dunno as i haven't tried everything. But for example, toolbar buttons....there are none and i can't add any. i've tried a few other things...
