Aero decided to turn itself OFF

How do I turn it back on?

I've tried all the dispaly settings and eery time a selecta new Aero background display and make changes to find the Aero settigns, it converts it to a Basic High Contrast background.

All the Aero settigns appear to have shut themselves off and I cannot find a way to turn them back ON.

I have gone through all the Personlize options and ther eare not more Aero settings listed anywhere.

    Is this a common issue?
    How can this be fixed?

It has been working for 3 days, new system, and just randomly quit.

    Thanks

If nothing else works like you said, you can force Aero back on with this:

    Found the problem

I finally saw the notification messge statign the Aero was turning off.
It is due to another software that I run that causes the Aero to momentarily turn off that caused the problem. I will have to live with it as I need this program to work.
When I stop running the program, Aero turns back on as expected.

    Thanks for the info.

Teamcenter Engineering V10. It is a PDM software and the EXE used causes the failure. As soon as I close it, it is fine. I think it has something to do with the JAVA version used for the program.
