    Optimized folder templates - editing

Windows Explorer seems to automatically choose the display settings based on the content. When I open a folder that mostly contains mp3 files for example, the Columns display:

    • Name
    • #
    • Title
    • Contributing artists
    • Album

How can this "template" be changed to always include additional columns, such as "Duration"?

Is it possible to edit the Optimized Folder Templates to add or remove columns?

I am very interested to know if anybody knows the answer to this. Thanks

Yes, Antonimo, it is easy to add new columns or remove the ones that are already there. You right-click on any column header, choose "More" and then you have a near infinite list of possible columns. You can move them up or down the list, thus changing which column is shown first and so on.

Once you have achieved the set-up you want, you can go to Folder Options -> View and apply the chosen set-up to all folders of the same type. To choose the type, you click on the folder icon, then Properties -> Customize, but that you should do prior to choosing columns.

    Hope that helps.
