How do I change these icons?

I'm trying to replace all the default yellow folder icon but I don't know how to change these icons... can anyone help me?

Desktop Icons - Change or Restore Default Icon -Kudos to Brink

To change a folder/files' icon >>

1. Right Click > Properties
2. Customize
3. Change Icon

Thanks notsograymatter. I know how to change the default icons, just that after I change all my folder icons, the folder icons in "folder options" still remain as the old yellow folder icon.

Do you know how to change that?
