Windows 7: Replacing Show Desktop with Expose Clone?

So I always have my desktop set to hide icons, and I also have a white background.

I know there are expose clones to show all active windows, I'm wondering if it's possible to replace the show desktop option with expose option.

I have an android phone and holding down the home key to see you latest applications used has spoiled me. lol

Are you talking about using an expose clone and creating shortcuts to functions that you can use via the quick launch?

-- You could use one of the expose clones (I.E. DExposeE2/Switcher) and create a shortcut to each of the functions which you could use via quick launch and or another toolbar.

Or are you talking about replacing the show desktop button on the bottom right?

Basically activating the expose clone through the show desktop button, remapping it i guess.

edit: Switcher does the trick.

Just disable peek at desktop for the default show desktop button. Then set Switcher to activate on whatever corner your desktop button is at on hover.

Quick question Copernicus, does that program deactivate when you're in a full screen program?

Not sure, just tried with illustrator and media player on full screen and it's still active, but I don't know if those count as a full screen programs or not.

I rarely use full screen programs on this workstation.
