If you grabbed the "Windows Aero (Tahoma Font) Setup" download, uninstalling it via Programs and Features in the Control Panel will fully reverse any changes it makes to your system. If you go the manual installation route, you will have to be careful to backup any files before replacing them.

    Download-link not working

Hi - those links don't work, they have *********** where the domain name should have been. Would like to try these as smooting edges only solved part of my blurry appearance

Took me a few minutes to figure this out as well ...
I googled the last part of the URL "?246p3r27w2jp32w" and it came back with a mediafire link
Just replace the stars with mediafire[dot]com

Still a good link and the MD5 sum checks out.

It looks like mediafire[dot]com has been censored on sevenforums.com for whatever reason. I tried fixing the links in my original post, but with no success. 4spuds is right, just replace the asterisks with "mediafire[dot].com", and of course be sure to replace the "[dot]" with an actual period.

    Hi Boxr,

That's something we're working on; There's a beta build for Windows 8 on the forums!

    Hi all,

I've tried this program and found a strange thing: resulted font doesn't look like Tahoma in Windows XP This was the main goal I've download and installed it.

I think something works not correctly in this. Can anybody try to help me? I'm fond of thin Tahoma font in WinXP and Segoe is too ugly together with ClearType shit technology

UPD. Found the reason. I ran this prog not under administrator. Now all is correct.

    Thanks...

UPD2. But somewhere fonts differ in XP and 7, for example in file context menu and in Firefox browser on the same site. Any ideas?

I don't know if this is still supported and i don't see any way to message the original poster, but something may have happened during a recent update that made the modified aero.msstyles file to not be recognized by Windows and it disables all Aero themes as well as any non-classic themes. Replacing the original theme file fixes it, but stuck with the Segoe.
