    Hi Cosmitz,

Unfortunately I don't think I can be of much help here. I'm running Windows 7 x64 with all of the latest updates and Windows Aero (Tahoma Font) still works. The first thing I would recommend trying would be to completely uninstall and reinstall the program. If that doesn't work, with the program uninstalled, try the manual install. Let me know how it goes.

Eric - I just wanted to say a huge thank you for this fix. It is a real life saver and is the first thing I install on every new windows 7 machine. I have just received a new work laptop and in the default configuration, it was unusable and just gave me a very bad headache. I would rather change job than work with a laptop without your solution. With your fix, everything is great again.

I really hope Microsoft sort out the font rendering for Windows 10 as it is well past due. Cleartype is a kludge that just doesn't work for many.

I recenltly installed Windows 10 Creators Update and I have this problem: the clock in the taskbar doesn't show anymore the colon but a square!
    How can it be resolved?
