    Lost Network and Sound tray icons


    I was skinning my system tray last night and experimenting around a bit. I had thought i backed up my files but it seems i had forgot to.

    Could anyone give me SndVolSSO.dll and pnidui.dll ? Or any other method i could use to obtain them?
    I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit

    Start / Run / cmd

    sfc /scannow

    Restores default system files. I have no idea if it will fix bad skin.

    Are you sure it's missing those files? Or did you possibly just hide the icons via the Customize notification icons dialog?

    i'm sure because i remember taking ownership of them both and replacing them lol!

My Windows 7 system sometimes shows the 143043 System tray network icon (or the same with a red cross on it), and at other times it shows 143044. What do these icons mean? In both cases, if I hover over the icon it says I've got an internet connection... Thanks - Rowan
