    Just a little question

Is this normal to have such a wide space in between the recycle bin and the taskbar?

It can be if you are using default screen settings. You can go into the windows metrics and adjust things if you want them tighter.

4If you tried to move it down and it keeps going like that
then it is normal for your screen.
Mine is a little closer then your.
Also check to see if you have icons
on align to grid. That is what mine says.
    I just checked.

Sorry I could not be more help to you.

You can place an icon in whichever place on your desktop you want. Even if you dont want them at all, you may hide them
