    Taskbar icon previews not working.


    I used to be able to preview the icons on my desktop if I had different programs open, but now it's not working. What is wrong, and what can I do to fix it? Thanks.:)

    I already have all of that done, yet when I hover over my icons, I don't get a preview, and it says "taskbar icon preview not working."

    It may be due to a corruption in system files. You may try a fix .
    Open an Elevated Command Prompt and then run the SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker .

    It should work .

    Okay, it's working today for some reason. :lol: Don't know what was wrong with it. If it happens again (which I hope it doesn't) I'll use your suggestion, Arc. Thank you very much, both of you.
