Folder Detail is backwards in Win7 search sort
I am new to Windows 7. When I used the search feature of Win XP I was able to sort files by subdirectory within the directory I was searching. When I search in Windows 7 the results are sorted by the smallest subdirectory within the directory.
For example I have a directory "2010" containing subdirectories by client name "Smith," "Jones" etc. Each client subdirectory contains 3 similarly named a subdirectories e.g. "letters" "pleadings" "miscellaneous." When I search, the folder detail displays as follows:
"pleadings(\\Network\shared\Client Accounts\2010\Smith)."
Since I am searching in the 2010 subdirectory the display should sort by the next largest subdirectory in the tree which would be the client names. Sorting by the smallest, repeating, subdirectory "pleadings" is of no use to me.
The question: is there a way to make Windows 7 search and sort by the next largest subdirectory within the directory that you are searching?
