    Send To menu? Adding destinations?

In XP, I can add destinations to the right-click > Send To menu, by adding shortcuts to programs to the C:\Documents and Settings\DarkStar\SendTo folder. I've added Notepad and MS Paint there.

Can I do something similar in Windows 7?

I doubt you will be able to do this in Windows 7. Might be possible with a third party application or a registry edit though

    They look promising.

It's actually quite easy. Just type “shell:sendto” (without the quotes) in the location bar of a Windows Explorer window. You’ll see the default choices. Now you can delete any of the defaults out or you can add any you want by dragging and dropping.

    The actual path is

    C:\Users\(name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo

    "Send to" Folder Missing

I have 2 computers, each running Win 7 HP 64bit.

On one computer, the "send to" folder is in C:\users\Mike.

However there is no "send to" folder on the other computer in C:\users|Brenda.

How do I find the "send to" folder? Why are 2 computes running the same OS different?

When using Help and Support a search for "send to" or "send to folder" does not find anything regarding the "send to" folder. It finds "send to e-mail" etc. It would cut down traffic on sites like this if a search for "send to" brought up topics relating to the "send to" folder.

    Thanx,

    Mike

The 'Appdata' folder is hidden but the 'send to' folder is loacted in the same path on all Windows 7 installs at C:\Users\(name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo
