It's well hard this graphics stuff innnit?
Very good question John. People generally silently download, never ask this! As you know, I am not an professional graphic Artist...I do something just as a hobby.

Not absolutely hard, but takes a lot of time, patience, care; a single small button can take 1 hour to be perfect.
Thats can give the estimate how much energy total GFX team plus others (except me) is pouring here.

The technical part is not too much, but the sense of Art is very important. We are fortunate to see lot of Graphics artists together.

Its unfortunate that even today, many people thinks that "Photoshop" has some "hidden button" , pressing which can produce all the things very easily.

I really feel sorry for the underrated graphics artists, its not hard to tolerate when I am doing anything any people is saying nothing (NOT IN THIS FORUM), because I do it as a hobby. But, its very hard life for the professionals.

You will see lot of works, very fantastic works are just given for free by the pro (In DeviantArt, many blogs, Websites etc)...I asked an artist, she was allowing to download a particular brand soft drink bottle psd, she said, sometimes the final work is canceled by the party, so, she often upload and distribute there.
I felt very sorry after hearing it...please try to say a thanks when you download a stuff from anywhere in the Internet, atleast he/she will be happy seeing it.

We all know there are those that get what they want and are gone. The membership here that sticks around is generally good about showing appreciation, as you mentioned. But if you have admined anywhere, you learn that you better be doing it because you want to, because you'll soon get fed up. There are those that even think it is owed them somehow, even knowing it is all a voluntary effort. We salute all out GFX and GFX to be artists for all their contributions and efforts on our behalf, and Seven Forums

Yeah, right. For the newbie/growing Artists, Photographers, I must mention that the law regarding copyright.
If you have not sold the Copyright (of the Photo, creation etc); no one can claim its his/her, even if he/she paid for it. For example, suppose, I asked Arc to build a banner for me and we settled at 50$ for it. He then creates a banner for me. The deal was over. Note, after paying Arc for the work, I have not "purchased" the full works from him. I cant resell it, I cant claim I have created it. Arc can claim as well as resell the banner in any form.
To get the full access, I have to ask Arc to sell the Copyright of the banner to me, which, he may agree or not.
Anyone can get free copyright only for their works. Search Google with "Free online Copyright" you will get some websites. You have to upload the file and they will send you a digital id of the Copyright.
Remember that, if any third party website puts copyright (like putting Deviant Art CCL) over your work, has very little value to court. Better if you take copyright yourself for each valuable creation. It implies, you gave importance for your work's originality.

If anybody feels like making me a sig I'd appreciate it:)
I have a pretty good idea what images and script I'd want on it.
Should I post my wishes here or wait until someone offers to do it and talk through PM messages?

    Cheers, J
