    Carl,
Here's another way for your sig to look. You may or may not like it but it is different.

    OK ... tomorrow ...

Robert, I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Thank you for taking your time to do this.
Please look at this image ... it is a single png, no animation ... just for placement?

    Attachment 75641

If it pleases you, I can proceed with the animation. Or I can make adjustments as well ...
Robert, I do like it very much. Great symmetry. It is a go!

Actually I just started doing these since joining SF.
This sig was to fade in and a new screen was to jump in behind it.
    Back to the drawing board.
You have a nice week-end yourself.

Know why it didn't work.......92 frames! Way too many.

    Looking good Robert!
As a beginner I would like to know how you moved things around in Carl's sig?
I am using an old Paint Shop Pro v7 program and was unable to move items.

In truth I freely admit I am not an artist. But I am a mechanic, that is I understand the mechanics behind the animation. First I went back several days of posts to find the "flag and eagle" gif noyb had posted. Then used a gif animation utility to separate and save the 11 images. I separated the flag from the eagle 11 times. Using Paint.net, I started with the background set at 620 x 150, copied and pasted the center into the background, pasted the 11 flags and saved, and finally pasted the 11 eagles into each frame. Last step is to use the gif utility to make the 11 frames animate.

No doubt some paid software would make this much easier, but for now I am content to use the free software I have.

    Cheers!
    Robert
