    Control Panel font size

I have a 1920x1080 display on a Inspiron 1750 running Windows 7. I have tried to change the DPI and for some reason the red runs on the right side of the display because of a bad driver that is the best I can get. I have also tried changing resolutions and that blurs things. There are several windows such as Control Panel that have small font; is there a way to increase the size?

Do you have a Intel GMA 4500M in the Device Manager under display adapters, or some type of amd card?

The adapter is: Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family.

This is a Windows 7/8 dual boot system and the drive for 8 works fine, I can adjust the DPI or the resolution without any bad effects.

    Same thing...

I had not updated 7 for many months because I was using 8 and the display was fine. When I decided to do the updates - there was around 600mb and that is when the display got upset. I had the original driver and tried to get it to work, but same story.

Can you post an image of the stuff with intel in it from programs and features? You will probably have to uninstall the drivers then do driver cleaning and then install the old driver for it to work like before.

Okay uninstall only the graphics one and reboot, and also searching for support on that machine it looks like they do not have that model to search for anymore, can you post your service tag that should be on the bottom of the laptop as that will tell the website to give the right link for support. The only 1750 they have is the desktop version.

EDIT: after rebooting then uninstall it from the device manager as well under display adapters and check the box uninstall software that way it removes whatever windows saved for it. Then you should be able to install your older driver.

I have it memorized. Be aware that there is a hardware (processor) issue that this PC will not accept 8.1 for what ever that is worth.

Thanks and that is not an issue if your trying to fix just 7 for the time being. Use this driver when you have uninstalled the old one Intel GM45 Video, v.15.15.64.1808, A00 Driver Details | Dell US and I guess they did have it on the site but it uses the pic of a desktop and has some stuff in your system config under the service tag as desktop software but also clearly says notebook. They really made there part inventory confusing.
