welcome screen change

although I got Windows 7 primarily as a games machine, I am now wanting to customise it to suit my tastes and make it 'mine'.
I would like to change the 'Welcome' screen picture, but keep the account icon. Is this possible? If so, what file name and extension do I need to look for to replace?

Thank you - again
