Moving user folders

Hi ,

Well I've moverd my user folders (music, pictures, videos, docs,DLs) to a different partition using Yamicsoft's 7 manager.
All folders kept their original icon except My Downloads and My Documents.
I tried to customize them but I didn't find the folder icon of neither of them in
%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll... How can I solve it ??

Another question, since I'm manually backuping (using a 3rd party software) my system BOOT partition (C:\) as and not using system restore everey time I do partition restore I loose my cookies and have to re-login a lot of websites again.

If i'll move my cookies folder to a different partition using 7 manager again it will solve this problem ?
What I'm asking is this the only thing I need to do in order for my OS to know where my cookies are ? Should it have a specific name ?

Hi pal ! I have the answer of your first question. The icon location is %systemroot%\system32\imageres.dll . that location contains almost all system icons generally used in windows. If you need, I am uploading those two icons, extracted from my system Icons.zip

Sorry that I dont have enough conception about your secont question, but I am sure anybody else can solve it easily

Here's some tips on importing and exporting cookies, feeds and favorites.

Importing and Exporting Bookmarks/Favorites in Internet Explorer/Firefox

I'm not sure why your's are not getting moved back, but I have a folder on my ext. drive for favorites and I export my favorites and cookies there so I can re-populate my browser in case of a situation like yours.

Hope that helps with your second question, just post back if you need more help.

I like this forum

First Q SOLVED.
About the second Q , well I'm using Maxthon2 (which is a custom browser sitting on top of IE8) and I'm not sure it's sharing the same cookies with IE8 so I posted a question to sort this things up.
Anyway I'll keep you posted if a solution was found
