    Windows 7 Host File


    Hi all, just joined, so hope I'm in the right area When editting the Windows Host File to block web sites, does editting this file affect EVERY user on the system? I'm running Windows 7 Ulimate with 2 users. Me, being Administrator. Thank you.

    It should.. If it is located in the correct directory it is global.

    I was hoping it wouldnt. Anyway of editting it so it only effects 1 user?
