    Multiple Desktop Wallpapers

I have a 3 monitor setup, I'd like to use a paneramic or use a different picture for each monitor. IS there a way to do with win7 without any extra programs?

Not unless you get a WP that is already sized for your triple setup.

I recommend DisplayFusion: Multi-Monitor Taskbar and Desktop Wallpaper | Binary Fortress Software - The developer is actively working on getting the new taskbar integration working correctly in Win7 (look and feel) and it already supports multiple WPs on multiple monitors, with a rotate feature, a DL from flicker and rotate feature, and even a VladStudios DL and rotate features, plus randomization...

*and* he just announced that those interested in the paid version get 50% off for a limited time to celebrate his 500,000th DL.... DisplayFusion Reaches 500,000 Downloads! | Binary Fortress Software

I have some WP that are sized correctly, but it just smashes it down no matter which "strech, full" thing i select.

Hmm, I don't believe so, then....not natively in Windows 7, unless I am mistaken....

An interesting thing I found was if I set up a wallpaper for each monitor using DF and then closed the program, the individual wallpapers would remain.

Yup - it is integrated enough into hte system so that you can set it once, save it as a theme, and you're good to go even if DF never runs again....

I had no need for the full version- seems like it would be nice for xp though. Just set a background and closed it out... nice to know there's no background process and I didnt have to install it.

btw there are some multiple monitor wallpapers that have been designed to stretch over two or more monitors. Check out this link for some: deviantART: where ART meets application!

of course you'l still need an application like DisplayFusion.

I'm using Ultramon (ultramon.com) for a 2 monitor setup. It works flawlessly in W7 RC. It's also very useful for managing different windows on both desktops (you can configure each application to open in a specific monitor)

Ultramon has no free version though - it is a 30 limited trial, whereas DF is free, and cheaper if you buy the Pro version.

And I used UM for 4+ years....
