Windows 7: My laptop keeps changing the desktop picture every time I turn it on.

C:windows>resources>theme>(name of the theme folder)

custom theme usually have their wallpaper folders inside

and to locate directly location of wallpapers in any theme. you can

Right click>personalize>desktop background>and you'll see the wallpaper folder root. You can track it from there

Ok. This would be a lot easier if you could post a screenshot of your Control Panel > All Control Panel Items >Personalization > Desktop Background so ...

Open Paint

Paste

Save as png

Attach to your next post!



The wallpapers are usually found in ...

C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper\Windows

(with copies of some in the winsxs folder though it's not immediately apparent why!)

You may need to unhide files to find the one you want.
