No worries. I am sure that someone here can come up with a tutorial - and if not, I might buy it myself, if it allows me to create a complete style - there are a couple of things I want to change in the one I am using, mainly, to make all progress bars silver (works well with the the rest of the style) as well as change a few other things, like the mouse-over highlight on buttons (I prefer a different shade of blue, is all).

Thanks for fixing the link, although it was ok like that because i wanted to try both themes anyway, I edited the link and somehow the new link was named like the old one.

Well the reason why i thought that both of them themes wouldnt work for RTM x64 is that the first one is for the RC and if you read the posts under the deviantART article you will see that some people described problems with RTM.
The second theme, read the posts again, seems not to work at least for a few people running x64, and the creator himself said it wouldnt work for x64.

Because it seemed to work for you guys, i wanted to try it myself. Last night i almost went crazy about the problems that occured trying to get the themes to work. All i wanted was a black shellstyle, so first of all i tried to patch the sytem32 folder with the patch of the second theme. Probleme there: i cant copy anything into my system32 folder, not as admin, not even with ownership of the whole system32 folder. Sounds funny and stupid, i know, and im not a total fool, but it doesnt work.
For the first theme, i used the "Power Tool Ultimate" as the creator of the themes told to do, to patch the 3 files themeservice, themeui.dll and uxtheme.dll. Well after reboot i wanted to try the new theme all exited... the theme window is totaly white now, no themes available, even after repatching.
After quite a night i gave up and am looking for a solution today.Would be great if someone could help.

instead of copying to system32 copy the file to be patched to the patch folder and patch it there, then copy the patched file to the default directory, seemples!

Quite an idea, unfortunatly i have no idea what files are to be patched.

And the fact that i cant select any themes as written above is my bigger problem atm. Any suggestions? Im desperate.

EDIT: Problem solved. Unfortunatly i didnt like the themes that much. My current theme is really great, is there any way to insert the black shellstyle into my current theme?
