Hey, would you help a noob?

    Hello hello

I hope this is not a too noobish question.

But i got some problems with a theme i downloaded, and i hope some of you could/would help me.

You see, i downloaded this theme/Visual style:
    lefty28 on deviantART

And i got the theme itself installed. but! There is a lot of Extra's in that file, i have no clue on how to activate. the only Extra's i managed too use, was:

    -CreativeX Orbs
    -Windows 7 start button changer
-Windows 7 Full Frame Transparency Enabler
    -Rocketdock skin

could anyone please help me on how too use the others?

Welcome to Seven Forums Azakiel. The Timedate-BS, blue_Explorerframe, Startmenue-Frame, and Shell32 Replacement Images must be changed manually using something like Restorator or Resource Hacker. I'm having internet problems at the moment (grrr) so can't download the theme to look. I'm assuming there are no instructions? What is your "level" when it comes to these things? Do you think you can manually replace images in a dll file? Or would you be happy with what you have, understanding that it takes some certain skills to do the rest? I have had problems replacing these things myself at times :)

Yeah, never used Restorator myself, it's not free. Resource Hacker will do the same thing, but probably not as easily. Used RH to change these files myself, and it's free. Thanks for that Derek, my cable is up and down tonight, pissing me off. A Guy

thanks for the replies A Guy and Derekimo.

I would probably be able to do it, but doesn't that kind of program come with a faq for quick learning?

And i probably wouldn't screw it more up than i already did, already did one system restore on my PC.

Okay, i got Restorator now (Don't ask how lol) and i'm viewing the timedate.cpl file, from Timedate-bs.zip .
Half of the .png's needed is already in the file, but the rest, how do i get them in the file? they are already named in the file, but they are just blank.

This might help until some GFX guru's see this to give you some better tip's.
