Frequently Used Programs in Start Menu

Under Windows XP, Tweak UI has a section that the user can put a checkmark next to the applications that will be allowed "to appear in the Most Frequently Used Programs section of the Start menu".

Is there a program or registry tweak that will accomplish this under Windows 7?

What Windows 7 does is when you right mouse click on the item you have quite a few choices but 2 are pin to Taskbar and pin to Start Menu. Once an item is pinned to the Start Menu it will run, to turn off the automatic start of the item but leave it in the Start Menu go to Start>type msconfig> right mouse click on msconfig when it comes up in the upper screen> run as Administrator> deselect the item(s) you no longer wish to start automatically. Not what I'm looking for. If I use MS Word (especial if I use it several times) it shows up on the start menu's "Most Frequently Used Programs" section. If I already have MS Word on my toolbar, I want to tell Windows 7 not to add MS Word to the "Most Frequently Used Programs" section. I can do this under Windows XP with Tweak UI. [Note:] I have several pinned to the start menu - they do not automatically run.
