alt Key Menu Navigation

Hi Win 7 Gurus

Please tell me how to disable the alt key drop-down navigation. For example in my office suite when you hit the alt key the focus is taken to the drop-down menu at the top of the screen and subsequent key strokes or arrow keys will navigate from there. There are particular programs where I really don't want that happening. Turning it off for specific programs would be nice but if it has to be done across the board then fine because I don't use at all anyway.

Cheers

Dan

The alt key in windows, no. You can probably configure within the progarms you are having the issue with. It's possible you may be able to remap the key. Have a look at this, it's actually an incredible little program. I only use it to assign key cominations to type sentences I use over and over at work all day. Have a look, you might find what you need:

A Guy,

Thanks. Actually something I didn't mention... I need the alt key for other purposes within the program.
