    How can I change the color of selected items?


    I know, I know you've probably read it a million times, but I cannot figure this out! I want to change the large blue selection, when you click and drag to highlight something on the desktop from this ugly blue to a nice dark gray...but alas I'm not that tech savvy

    Heres an example of what it looks like now:


    and I want to change it to this color:


    So how exactly do I go about doing this...I've tried looking everywhere on how to do this, so I'm assuming it's either incredibly complicated or really simple and I'm just too stupid to find out how lol...

    help would be much appreciated :)

    Ave's Windows7 Style Builder may help you in this project

    But this program doesnot have a trial version

    Welcome to Seven Forums luftherz. Right click desktop> Click on personalize> Windows color/custom at bottom

    Advanced appearance settings> Item dropdown list> Selected Item> Color 1: dropdown, pick your color> Apply> OK

    That's it :)
