    Animated Desktop Wallpaper

I heard that they disabled the animated desktop option in vista and seven? Is there a registry fix for this kind of problem?

    Why would you disable it?

I've found it kind of cool. I have a wallpaper that says "Hey, how was you're day" then about 3 second laters it says "Wait..I do not care. **** you!" then it shows a big middle finger.

I do it for the pranks.

I concur. It's cool if you don't mind watching your processor idle between 15 - 40% usage.

Don't install it on windows 7 because it's not compatibile with it. It's only for vista. Dreamscene bugged mine Personalize tab (When u press right click on desktop) and my resolution 1280x1024 was like 800x600. Only way to fix it is to use recovery mode in control panel.

I've been using DreamScapes from Stardock as part of their Object Desktop package. CPU impact is negligible and I get some pretty awesome animations on my 37" monitor! From outer space to landscapes and more I haven't had any problems with it.
