Choosing Classic View

I am new to Windows 7 and I would like to change the Start Menu & the Control Panel from the default view to Classic. I don't know where to find this option that's why I'm here.

Will someone, please, explain how I can accomplish this?

Classic start menu and consistent folder view in Win7
